Temperature control system
Temperature control system 01
Temperature control systems are complete systems for heating and cooling with prefabricated secondary circuits. They are built in boiler systems, including fuel supply and chimney systems. In addition, many manufacturing processes require the use of heat and cold. PURPLAN ensures the optimal integration of the temperature control and supply systems into your overall system.
Explanation: Temperature control plants and systems are used for heating or cooling based on prefabricated secondary circuits. They are used successfully in many industries, for example for cooling workpieces. Temperature control devices and systems work with various circulating media as heating or cooling medium and function as a heating or cooling system, depending on the situation.
Advantage: The systems are considered to be extremely energy-efficient solutions. In addition to series devices, possible designs include individually adapted temperature control systems for production processes that either require large amounts of heat or have to dissipate it.
What can a temperature control system do?
Many machines, for example in the plastics or pharmaceuticals industry, run around the clock in continuous operation. Their safe operation often depends to a large extent on smoothly functioning temperature control.
Depending on the application and requirements, various temperature control systems are available. There are systems that achieve cooling down to -150 degrees Celsius and heating systems that reach up to +400 degrees. Depending on the version, water, glycol or thermal oils (thermal oil heaters) are used as the heat transfer medium.
Modern temperature control systems score points with their simple operation including touchscreen control and a user-friendly design. A level switch in the device's tank ensures that the filling level of the heat transfer fluid remains the same and, if necessary, initiates automatic refilling. If there is sufficient heat transfer medium in the tank, a pump transports the liquid through a consumer and then back into the tank.
The actual temperature is measured there. If this exceeds the previously set target value, the valve of the cooling water connection opens. The incoming water cools the heat transfer medium down to the desired temperature. If it is a heating system, the heat transfer medium is heated instead. This is usually done using an electric heating element.
What types of temperature control systems are there?
Temperature control systems not only differ in the circulating media used, above all water and oil. Possible versions also include compact devices or modular multi-circuit systems.
In addition, there are differences in the following points:
- the achievable temperatures
- open, pressure-tight closed or pressurized system
- directly or indirectly cooled
- electrically, gas or steam heated
PURPLAN offers individual systems that are planned and constructed 100 percent for on-site requirements. PURPLAN manufactures systems for use in numerous sectors, including process engineering, the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, the metal industry and the plastics and rubber industry.
In addition to temperature control systems for various industrial applications, PURPLAN offers a wide range of special technical equipment. The goal is always to provide the customer with a high-performance temperature control system that is tailored to their needs. Therefore, every system is developed in close cooperation with the customer.
